The University of the Third Age (U3A) is a national self-help organisation for older people no longer in full time employment. We provide educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment.
There are now over 1,000 local U3A branches in the UK. Each operates in its own way, but in all of them members use their knowledge, skills and experience to set up and run interest groups according to the wishes of members.
North Walsham U3A was formed in 2006 and now has almost 300 members living in the town itself and neighbouring towns and villages. We offer a very warm welcome, and with members' very varied backgrounds and experiences we are able to offer around 40 different interest groups. You can find out about these through our Groups page.
