NEWS AND EVENTS
We hold a general meeting for all members, usually with a guest speaker, on the first Friday of each month
in the Roman Catholic Church Hall, North Walsham, NR28 9JP starting at 2.15pm.
PARKING IS LIMITED, SO PLEASE PARK CONSIDERATELY.
Our aim is to provide a varied, informative, entertaining and intellectually satisfying programme
for our members. Visitors are also welcome for a small charge (£2).
These meetings also provide group leaders with an opportunity to make announcements, and
we round off the afternoon by getting together over tea and biscuits.
We pride ourselves on being a very friendly and welcoming U3A.
MONDAY ZOOM COFFEE MORNINGS
We have had a number of people who have said that they miss the companionship that regular U3A meetings afforded. In particular, those who are now feeling very lonely as they come into the ‘at risk’ category and continue to self-isolate, and those who don’t currently have a partner at home.
So we have set up a way for us to get some of that camaraderie back using Zoom. Richard Nevill is hosting ‘Coffee Zoomy Elevensies’ on Mondays at (guess when!) .. 11.00am. If you want to join us for a friendly chat, then get in touch with Richard at firstname.lastname@example.org and he will put you on the email list to receive a Zoom invitation. Alternatively, just click on the button below to get a message to Richard.
We circulate a monthly newsletter to all current members, preferably by email, giving updated information on the groups and current events.
