WHAT WE DO
The purpose of the Family History Group (previously called Genealogy Group) is to share ideas about how to research family history.  We look at the resources available such as certificates and Census returns, how to record our findings and how to use some of the lesser known tricks of the trade that help in our research.

The group also aims to help members  searches for ancestors when a 'brick wall' stops us in our tracks. Sometimes this is successful, sometimes not. This is very much a self help group so we are all learning together.

WHEN & WHERE WE MEET

The group currently meets online using Zoom (July 2022)
We meet 10.00am - 12.00Noon six times a year, normally on the last Friday of alternate months, starting from January, but please check with the group leader.
